Disappointed.

I recently gave a 5 star review for this compass and decided to purchase a second one. I am now only able to give 4 stars as i was disappointed to find that the second one, (in my opinion). looks less premium quality as it now does not have the two grooves around the circumference of the compass.The company say this is due to new stock. Please be aware of this if you intend to purchase one.

Bought this as a birthday present for a 17 year old and he loved it. Very well made and arrived quickly.

Lovely gift

The compass itself was great, but the box lid was a bit damaged and loose. I needed to give the gift the following day, so couldn't send it back. But my nephew thought it was cool and I don't think he noticed the slight damage. Overall, I was happy and would use again. But maybe allow more time in case of damage.

Fabulous gift for an adventurous man
